Habanero Gains Supplier License in Peru’s Emerging Gaming Market
Habanero, a premium provider of slot and table games, has received regulatory approval to operate in Peru, marking a significant milestone in its expansion across Latin America.
The accreditation, granted by Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), allows Habanero to offer its gaming portfolio, including fan-favorite titles like Hot Hot Fruit and Zeus Deluxe, to the Peruvian market. This approval follows the establishment of Peru’s regulatory framework for gaming in late 2023, positioning the country as a key player in the Latin American gaming industry.
With this certification, Habanero extends its footprint to 25 regulated markets worldwide, reinforcing its commitment to being a leading provider in the global gaming sector. The company has previously secured licenses in Colombia, Buenos Aires, and Panama, demonstrating a strong presence in the region.
Arcangelo Lonoce, Head of Business Development at Habanero, commented:
“Peru is one of the most promising up-and-coming markets in Latin America, and we are delighted to position ourselves as a trusted and dependable supplier in the region. Being awarded this highly sought-after accreditation represents the next chapter of our growth strategy and allows us to keep supporting our current and future clients while introducing even more players to Habanero’s tried and tested titles.”
The Peruvian market’s regulatory progress signals a broader trend of growth and opportunity within the region, further solidifying Latin America’s status as a crucial focus for the gaming industry.
