Thunderkick Obtains Danish B2B License for Continued Market Growth
Independent slot developer Thunderkick has secured a B2B license from Denmark’s Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden), ensuring its operations in the country until 2029.
The license, effective from 1 January, allows Thunderkick to continue supplying games to Danish operators and solidifies its market position in one of Europe’s regulated gaming jurisdictions. This development positions Thunderkick among the first suppliers to comply with Denmark’s updated licensing regulations.
The Stockholm-based studio, known for its distinctive slot offerings, operates across numerous regulated European markets. The extension of its commercial activities in Denmark underlines the company’s commitment to providing unique gaming experiences and maintaining compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks.
Wan Kim, Chief Compliance Officer at Thunderkick, expressed optimism about the achievement:
“Thunderkick continually strives to amplify its position in Europe, partnering with leading operators across target markets to enhance brand visibility and increase our player base. Obtaining a B2B license has been a focus since the Danish Gambling Authority announced the new regulations earlier this year, and our application’s success emphasizes the quality of Thunderkick products and our unwavering commitment to adhering to consistently updating regulations. The license will facilitate our continued growth in Denmark, where some of the country’s biggest operators offer our unique content to local players.”
This milestone reflects the company’s strategic vision for growth in regulated markets and its dedication to strengthening partnerships with leading operators across Europe.
